Perinatal Yoga Therapy:

Yoga therapy is a facet of the ancient science of yoga that focuses on health and wellness at all levels of the person: physical, psychological, and spiritual. Yoga therapy focuses on the path of Yoga as a healing journey that brings balance to the body and mind through an experiential understanding of the primary intention of Yoga: awakening of spirit, our essential nature. In Yoga Therapy we speak about the kosha model and in simplistic terms, this concept addresses the person as a whole being rather than addressing an individual with a single layered approach to an ailment. In perinatal yoga therapy, we work to address the whole Mother and all the layers of her being.

Doula Services:

I work with a handful of families a year as a postpartum doula.

A Postpartum Doula is a knowledgeable professional who assists families during the critical period immediately after the birth of their baby. We offer physical, emotional, and informational support to the family as well as practical/in the moment help. The Postpartum Doula's expertise in mother and baby care extends to assisting with postpartum comfort measures, breastfeeding support, non-judgmental guidance in infant care techniques, information on typical postpartum restoration, as well as family emotional assistance through this major transition.

Rate applies to clients within Adams County mileage up-charge applies to counties outside Adams.

Prenatal Yoga

This practice is an incredible way to connect to your body during this time of immense change. Prenatal yoga is all about awareness and opening of the pelvis and making postures usable during pregnancy, so they are accessible during birth.

Baby and Me

This practice is a beautiful way to bring baby into your practice & give you both the time & space you need to connect to yourselves, & each other.

Postpartum Yoga

Once you have reached 6 weeks postpartum and have clearance from your medical provider, we can introduce yoga back into your routine. With awareness of the core, we can bring you back to your body and connect you to your breath in a way that feels like coming home.
